Ruth Gibbons

These works all represent the experiences of people who live with unseen chronic illnesses such as Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fybromyalgia.  They were made as part of an ethnographic project.  Each person chose different objects which represented different aspects of their experiences and then I made the artworks based on discussions and interviews.
